Booking via the Internet

The online booking platform guides you safely through the various stages of booking. Book

As soon as we receive your deposit, we will send you an e-mail confirming your booking and containing the holiday voucher.

Once your rental stay has been paid, you will receive a new voucher by e-mail, containing the names of all the participants in the stay.

You can follow your reservation or your quotations from your Customer Area, located on our website https://camping-ardy.com/ at the top right of your screen, using your identifiers (file number and e-mail, communicated by the campsite).

From November to March: Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 12.30pm and 3.30pm to 6pm
From April to October: Monday to Saturday from 9.00 am to 12.30 pm and 2.00 pm to 6.30 pm and Sunday from 9.00 am to 12.30 pm.

When we reserve a camping pitch or accommodation for you, a confirmation e-mail is sent to you, summarising the amount of the deposit to be paid, the personalised contract, our general terms and conditions, as well as the booking form.

As soon as we receive your deposit and the contract, we will send you a new e-mail confirming your reservation, containing the booking voucher.

Once your holiday is over, you will receive the new booking form by e-mail, including the names of all participants in the holiday, including children under 3 years old.

Please note that we will process your request as soon as possible, during our office hours.

As soon as we block a pitch or a rental, you will receive a confirmation e-mail containing the deposit, the personalised contract, our general terms and conditions and the booking form.

As soon as we receive your deposit and contract, we will send you an e-mail confirming your reservation, containing the booking voucher.

Once your rental period is over, you will receive a new booking form by e-mail, including the names of all the participants in the stay, including children under 3 years old.

Consult and follow up the reservation

Constitution of your file

In order to make a reservation and to put together your file, you will be asked for certain information:

  • Your dates of stay
  • The exact number of adults and children (including babies under the age of three)
  • The type of accommodation or camping pitch you wish to rent
  • The surname, first name and date of birth of the person who will appear first in the file
  • The surnames, first names and dates of birth of the other participants in the stay
  • Your postal address and your e-mail address in order to send you the documents relating to your stay

Consult and follow up the reservation

You can, if you wish, follow and manage your stay yourself in your Customer Area. These identifiers are communicated to you when you book online or by the campsite by e-mail when you book by telephone.

Once you have logged on to your Customer Area, several functions are available to you:

  • Viewing your stays.
  • The possibility of paying your deposit and the balance by credit card.
  • Modification of your contact information, participants, ....
  • Important: Your customer area must be updated within 24 hours following a booking or payment.

Modifying your booking

It is possible to make a change to your stay subject to availability:

  • All requests must concern the current season and carryovers to the following season are not accepted.
  • All requests must be made in writing more than 7 days before the start of the stay (date of receipt of the letter by the Etang d'Ardy*** campsite taken into account).
  • If the request is not accepted by the campsite, you will have to make your stay under the conditions established at the time of your initial reservation or cancel it.

If the request is accepted by the campsite, any change in the type of pitch or accommodation or in the dates of stay will incur the following charges:

  • If the modification results in an additional cost, you will be responsible for paying the supplement.
  • If the modification results in a reduction in the amount of the stay and is made at least 30 days before the start date of the initial stay, the difference in price will be refunded.
  • If the change results in a reduction in the price of the stay and is made less than 30 days before the start of the initial stay, you will not be refunded.

Cancelling your booking

Your request must be sent by post within 48 hours of the event giving rise to your cancellation to SAS l’Etang d’Ardy - 2564, allée d'Ardy - 40990 St-Paul-lès-Dax and to the cancellation insurance company (if subscribed).

This will systematically lead to an invoice for a part of the total amount of the rental and the cancellation insurance costs:

  • If you cancel more than 30 days before the start date of your stay: the deposit and the cancellation insurance fee will not be refunded.
  • If you cancel less than 30 days before the start date of the rental stay, no refund will be made and the total amount of the rental stay will remain due as compensation for breaking the contract.
  • We remind you that cancellation insurance is not compulsory, but is strongly recommended.

Payments

Payment of the deposit and the balance

The total amount of the stay includes the reservation of the accommodation or the camping pitch and the cancellation insurance.

Campsite pitch: To confirm your reservation, a deposit of 50 € will be requested. Once the deposit has been received and cashed by the campsite, your reservation will be confirmed by e-mail. The balance must be paid on site.

Accommodation: To confirm your reservation, a deposit of 25%, excluding tourist tax, will be requested. Once the deposit has been received and cashed by the campsite, your reservation will be confirmed by e-mail.

The balance must be paid 30 days before your arrival.
If your reservation is made less than 30 days before the start of your stay, you must pay 100% of the rental amount, including cancellation insurance (optional).

Methods of payment

In order to pay for your stay, several methods of payment are possible:

100% secure, simple and fast: you switch to a secure platform of our partner who encrypts all your information for data confidentiality. This method of payment will be systematically proposed to you when you make a reservation by telephone or Internet if you make your reservation less than 15 days before your arrival.

This method of payment may be offered to you when booking by telephone or Internet if the booking is made more than 15 days before your arrival.

In order to confirm your reservation, it is imperative that we receive your payment by bank cheque together with your reservation form within a maximum of 5 days.

We do not accept e-cheques. We recommend that you send your payment by registered post.

This method of payment can be offered to you when you make a reservation by telephone or Internet if you book more than 15 days before your arrival.

In order to confirm your booking, it is imperative that we receive your payment by ANCV holiday voucher together with your booking form within a maximum of 5 days.

In the "provider's details" box, please indicate " SAS l’Etang d’Ardy ".

If the amount of the holiday vouchers you have available does not cover the total amount you have to pay, it is possible to complete your payment by bank cheque.

This method of payment can be offered to you when you make a reservation by telephone or Internet.

In order to confirm your reservation, it is imperative that we receive your bank transfer and your reservation form within a maximum of 5 days.

Insurance

Application cases

This cancellation insurance intervenes in the following cases:

  • You cannot make your stay because of Covid-19? If your stay is in question because of a positive PCR test, hospitalisation, contact cases or any other proven cause of Covid-19, the cancellation insurance includes a Covid-19 guarantee covering multiple cases for your cancellations !
  • You or a person accompanying you cannot attend the holiday ? You cannot arrive at the beginning of your stay ? Do you have to interrupt your stay ?

Cancellation and interruption of stay insurance

As a reminder, in accordance with our general conditions, no refund will be made by the campsite in the event of cancellation or interruption of your stay. As we cannot foresee everything in life, we suggest that you take out holiday cancellation and interruption insurance with our partner Gritchen Affinity to avoid any unforeseen events.

If the claim is covered by their general conditions, notify the company within 48 hours, using one of the following 3 methods:
